Description

There are two varieties of huckleberries that grow wild in Sitka. The red ones are used for this special vinaigrette by Simple Pleasures. It has a tart sweet flavor and is great on salads or to use as a marinade. Drizzle over salad with some olive oil for a simple but delicious dressing, or mix with a little mayonnaise for a creamy dressing. Ingredients: huckleberries, vinegar, sugar, lemon juice.
